A son of a theatre and band kid, Mike Dent was bitten by the acting bug from a young age, being trained in drama from the time he was four years old. At the age of 16, he became engrossed with voiceover, dabbling in radio plays and fan projects before making the jump to professional projects.

Highlights thus far include being a part of the award-winning productions THE FALCON BANNER (2008 Parsec Awards) and ABOVE AND BELOW (2013 BBC Audio Drama Award winner), co-hosting the podcasts R5 CENTRAL and FRIDAY ACE, and directing the award-winning 55th Anniversary special of the 2021 ULTRAMAN DAY ULTRATHON for Shout! Studios.
